Ex:Ride by FREEing

It’s times like this where I wish there was a Gintoki figma of some sort, or even a Revoltech would do, just as long as there’s an articulated Gintoki so I can sit him atop one of these amazing scooters by FREEing–the pearly white scooter would suit him most awesome! But that makes me wonder how he’d be able to sit down considering he wears a summer yukata. GSC, make a Gintoki figma! One can only hope. (  ; w;)

Enough rambling. These new figma accessories “ex:ride ride.001 – Vintage Bikes” by FREEing will be coming out this December 2009 for 1,480 yen each. There are five different colors to choose from: Metallic Green, Metallic Blue, Metallic Red, Metallic Yellow and Pearl White. At the moment only Hobby Search has pre-orders up!

Considering how much I really love the Pearl White scooter I think I’ll grab that one once HLJ puts pre-orders up. :D

VOLKS Pre-Painted Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann

Oh, now how in the world did I overlook this. Hobby Round is a new hobby event organized by Volks to announce their upcoming products and sell limited edition resin kits and PVC figures. It’s a two-day event with the first day assigned as Figure Day and Mecha Day on the following day. The second round just took place this past September, 20th. I did not follow the coverage for this event, since I’m pretty sure most of the stuff on display had already been shown at recent hobby events like Wonder Festival and Chara Hobby.

What I overlooked was that Volks will be releasing a pre-painted version of the statue Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann which measures at a height of 32cm. No info on price or release date as of yet.

Kaworu Nagisa RAH by Medicom

Time to whore over Medicom. :D

Back in June Medicom held an exhibition showcasing tons of awesome stuff, among that was a half prototype of Medicom’s upcoming Kaworu Nagisa. Just recently several full images of the complete prototype have surfaced so now we get to view him in full glory. I love the detail on his plugsuit (and might I add, purple suits him perfectly!). His hair is really something too; the tinge of shading on his hair looks very nice but I’ll be skeptical until I see the final product. And you need a little more tush there, Kaworu ^^;. Aside from his piercing hip bones, overall he looks incredible.

He’s scheduled for April 2010 release at 17,640yen. These Evangelion 2.0 RAH’s would look hella awesome standing side by side.

Sometimes I just want to give in and indulge on all these Medicom RAH’s that I want–and there are several of them, lemme tell you. It wouldn’t do my wallet any good as it would require me to spend hundreds.

MegaHouse’s 1/8 Hitsugaya Toushiro Available For Pre-order

Hitsugaya Toushiro from Bleach by MegaHouse will be available this coming December 2009 for 6,600yen. He measures 18.5cm tall. Currently only Hobby Search has pre-orders up.

Omg, so many figure pre-orders are going up! ( >_<;;) I was fooled thinking he would have an innocent expression. Looking at the figure closely now that some official images have been released, his face seems a bit iffy to me. His serious/mad expression suits him more, don’t get me wrong, but there’s just something about his face… Anyway, now that I’ve gotten a closer look I’m not sure I’ll be grabbing this one. But who knows, I might change my mind, orzzzz.

ETA: Nevermind, I think his face/expression is already growing on me now that I’ve spent the last couple of minutes staring at him, lolol.

Alter’s Hirasawa Yui Up For Pre-order

Hirasawa Yui from K-ON! by Alter will be available this coming December 2009 for 6,800yen retail price. She measures 21cm tall. Hobby Search and HobbyLink Japan have pre-orders up as of today.

Aaaaaaah, finally! More K-ON! goodness! Yui looks amazing. I can just imagine how the whole group will look like once Mugi and Ritsu are out!
