Nozomu Itoshiki Nendoroid
epic Exia cosplay
Via-alafista.com, taken at AFA2008, this is by far the most epic Exia cosplay ever. The detail on it is simply amazing. I wish I had the patience or talent to make something like this and just have it on display in my room. OH GUNDAM-KUUUNNN~ (T A T);;
Fortunately, Clive (the Exia cosplayer) has tutorials on how it was made: head tutorial & body tutorial
Now that I’m on the subject of Gundams, I’m going to try my hand on something like this! Tho, I think I’m going to buy another 1/100 Exia kit for that because lol, I wouldn’t want to screw up the one I already own.
Medicom Captain Harlock
I CAN’T WAIT TO GET MY HANDS ON HIM. Pics from Toy World; taken at AFA08 Anime Festival Asia 2008 held @ Singapore Suntec City Convention Centre. Speaking of Medicom toys, I really hope they make a Suzaku Kururugi in the near future (preferably in his plugsuit)–would be nice to have a Suzaku accompany my Zero action doll. D: OR a Lloyd Asplund would be amazing. OHGOD DO FUCKING WANT.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF. I’VE NEVER FAPPED TO AN EPISODE LIKE I’VE FAPPED TO THIS ONE. THIS EPISODE MELTED MY BRAIN. Saw the live stream with a friend at 2am, and ohgod, so much fapping and spazzing and incoherent shit was said in chat, lololol. EPIC SHIT, MAN.
This rant is all over the place. I will most likely come back to edit it, lol.
OHMYGOD. FINALLY. I AM SO EXCITED. From the latest Hobby Japan & scans via figure/GK, more news on the highly awaited Lelouch/Zero figure is out! (well, highly awaited on my part, that is!). I’ve been anxiously waiting more news on this figure since I last saw a preview of it from the last Hobby Japan magazine. I remember telling a fellow friend of mine back then how much I wanted this certain sculpt of Zero to be made into PVC (taken at WONFES 2008). The sculpt and pvc version are the same, but looks like they added extra stuff on the pvc version.
Anyway, this upcoming 1/8 scale figure of ‘Zero’ from Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 is by MegaHouse. The figure stands at 24.5cm in height (that is pretty big). Release date and price still undecided. Can’t wait to see the colored version!
Looking at the prototype, this is by far the most amazing figure of Zero to date (besides the Zero action doll by projectBM!). The figure comes with extra accessories (like the belt and sword). The cape is removable and the head is detachable so you can replace it with the helmet. It also looks like his left hand is movable and/or replaceable, since it extends and bends as you can see in the image below.

Moeyo just recently posted coverage on the Miyazawa Model Exibition (some coverage also at GSC & Akiba Hobby). The first thing that caught my attention is that another amazing Yoko (from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann) figure will get PVC’d. Yoko measuring at a scale of 1/5 is due out in April 2009 by GIFT, price undecided. I am so excited. She looks amazing!
Via ANN,
The December issue (released on November 19) of Shueisha‘s Ultra Jump magazine has announced that Shirow Miwa‘s Dogs action manga will be animated. The story takes place in a future European city where a genetically altered albino gunman, a chain-smoking mercenary, a former assassin, and a katana-wielding orphan ply their deadly trades on the streets and below the surface. Miwa drew the original Dogs manga in Ultra Jump from 2000 to 2001, and then restarted the manga in the same magazine in 2005 under the name Dogs: Bullets & Carnage. Viz Media announced at Comic-Con International last July that it is translating the manga for release in North America next April.
I THINK I JUST CAME. I AM SO EXCITED. The cast for the characters has also been listed and the cast looks promising.
