Fall 2010 Anime Line-Up

It seems I’ve only been updating with seasonal anime charts lol. Anyway, Fall chart is here! Stuff I’ll definitely be watching and some try out are:

–Togainu no Chi
–Shinrei Tantei Yakumo
–BAKUMAN
–Letter Bee 2
–Arakawa Under the Bridge 2
–Toaru Majutsu no Index 2
–Hakuoki 2
–Star Driver
–Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai
–IRONMAN
–Otome Yokai Zakuro
–Kuragahime
–Hyakka Ryoran Samurai Girls
–Motte To-Love-Ru

Ok, that’s one hell of a long list. Which reminds me, I really need to catch up with some of my current series I’ve fallen behind on before this season starts.

Thoughts: I’m very excited for Togainu no Chi, I’m honestly hoping it has butt loads off BL in it. Another one I’m super excited about is Shinrei Tantei Yakumo. I can’t believe it’s been made into an anime series! I really enjoyed the manga. And still no airing news on Ai no Kusabi anime. So disappointing. ToT

Summer 2010 Anime Line-Up

Annnnd Summer anime chart is out! Looks to me like there aren’t so many interesting series, but this is version 1 so maybe more will be added later? Let’s hope! Shows I’ll definitely watch and some try out are:

–Sengoku BASARA
–Kuroshitsuji II
–Highschool of the Dead
–Occult Academy
–Nurarihyon no Mago
–Tono to Issho

Sengoku BASARA is really the only one I’m looking forward to this season–oh, my impatient burning soul has been waiting for this manly series to arrive! ffff

As for Kuroshitsuji II, I’ll be open minded and give it a try. Despite it not having Sebastian nor Ciel the new Butler and Master are quite aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

Winter Sonata
Nyan Koi!
White Album 2

Blue Literature (Obata Takeshi!!!)

Aaaah! This season looks to be somewhat exciting! I honestly can’t wait for InuYasha and Fairy Tail! I’m also looking forward to Nyan Koi! and Blue Literature. Kimi ni Todoke looks like it’ll be a nice shoujo anime (I’ve not read the manga yet NVM, I JUST MARATHONED ALL 16 CHAPS THAT ARE CURRENTLY OUT LOL. I loved it!). Haven’t really watched shoujo in ages, so this will be refreshing and heck, it’s by Production IG!

Holyshi– More Inuyasha Anime!

inuyasha-kanketsuhenSo as ANN reported, Inuyasha’s final chapters get a TV anime!!

This year’s 34th issue of Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine will announce next Wednesday that an Inuyasha Kanketsu-hen (Inuyasha Final Chapter) television adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi’s manga has been green-lit. The anime will broadcast on Japan’s YTV this fall and cover the story in volumes 36 to 56 of the manga — the final 21 compiled book volumes. The original staff and cast will reunite for the new anime adaptation.

HELL YES. I’ll admit, I was such a huge Inuyasha fag back then when the anime first came out (well, actually, the manga got me hooked, orz) and I still am. The anime ended abruptly, not finishing the manga off. Then again, of course, the manga was incomplete back then so it’s understandable. But now that the series has ended they can finally finish animating it. AND HOLYCRAP HAVE I BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOREVER NOW. Words can’t express how excited I am for the sequel! \(^o^)/ I can’t wait to finally see the later parts of the story animated. Now this will be a series I’ll be looking forward to watching for the Fall anime line-up.
